THE MEADE MOVEMENT CHECKLIST (Video Training Course)


Concisely illustrated segments of typical and atypical muscle development are presented as a background for early, primary screening. This video captures each month of early development and illustrates the first half of the book ‘Partners in Movement’. The video also depicts atypical development and early markers of muscle imbalance at four to six months of age. The development of observation skills is encouraged with the auditory guide and an easy checklist of movements which should be present between four and six months of age. Three case ‘tests’ at the end of the videotape allow for practice and reliability testing. If the viewer is interested in community screening, these three tests can be used to obtain a certificate of reliability using the Meade Movement Checklist.
